Below we will outline what is covered by each program:

The True Gem Care Plan – Powered by Montage
Jeweler’s Mutual Insurance
We take great pride in the design and engineering process of our jewelry. With extensive industry experience, our design team has developed innovative products that are aesthetically beautiful without compromising on their structural integrity. We stand behind our products with integrity and confidence. With every purchase of a True Gem product, we guarantee the craftsmanship for a lifetime. Here is what is covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty:
All Manufacturing Defects Covered
1 Free Ring Sizing Within the First Year of Wear Included with Purchase
Free Refinishing & Polishing
Free Yearly Inspections
Free Rhodium Plating (Once Per Year)
Free Shipping One Way (Once Per Year)
Free Moissanite Replacement if Damaged
Free Lab-Grown Color Gemstone Replacement if Damaged (excluding Lab Grown Diamonds)
Manufacturing defects happen when an error in the manufacturing process deviates from the intended design causing issues of structure or stability. Some manufacturing defects may occur before a product is manufactured because the product was either not tested properly, or poorly designed. Every item that is produced using a flawed design is considered defective. If you experience loss of stones due to poor setting technique or poor quality of materials, this is considered a manufacturing defect. If your jewelry bends, breaks or separates due to poor casting quality, this is also considered a manufacturing defect and will be covered under our limited lifetime warranty. The limited lifetime warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidental or intentional damages caused to the items. The True Gem covers variables within our company’s control, but cannot cover outside instances that cause our products to be damaged.
Moissanite and colored gemstone eternity bands are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. Whether it be moissanite or colored gemstones, the stones on the back of the ring are more vulnerable to damage if not worn with care. If a stone is chipped or damaged, the warranty covers a one-time free replacement of said stone or stones. However, if there are additional stones that are damaged after the one-time free replacement, we will still happily replace these stones, but the stone replacement fee, labor fee, and shipping costs are required by the client.
Our limited lifetime warranty does not cover loss, theft, or damage caused by wear and tear.
If your True Gem product has been worked on, repaired, or manipulated in any way by an outside jeweler it is no longer covered in our Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Your ring must be inspected on an annual basis by a True Gem-certified jeweler to remain in good standing with the Limited Lifetime Warranty.
If repairs are needed by your True Gem product that was not a result of manufacturing defects, an estimate for the repairs and shipping fees will be sent for your review prior to any work being conducted on the item.
An inspection report will be provided by our True Gem-certified jewelers to determine what repairs are necessary. This information will be stored in our company database for future reference.
The limited lifetime warranty does not protect against jewelry that is intentionally damaged, worn irresponsibly, or altered by another jeweler.
In partnership with Montage, we are offering 5 year and Lifetime care plans to all clients (past, present, and future!) The care plans were designed to offer you coverage on necessary maintenance that is not normally covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty. All damages incurred on your jewelry through wear and tear, or accidental instances will be covered under The True Gem Care Plans.

The True Gem Care Plans can only be sold on jewelry that is in “like-new” condition. Whether your jewelry is 3 months old or 3 years old, if it is still in “like-new” condition you are eligible to purchase a care plan. If you intend on purchasing a care plan on a previously purchased True Gem product, please contact our team for instructions on how to proceed.
Care plans cannot be purchased to cover an immediate repair on your jewelry.
Center stone replacement is only covered by the Lifetime Care Plan
Once your center stone has been claimed and replaced, the care plan is then considered “fulfilled,” and a new care plan must then be purchased to cover any future losses or damages.
If a care plan is purchased on a pair of earrings, the care plan will only cover damages to the item, not full replacement or partial replacement if an earring is lost.
Once your total of claims has equaled the limit of liability, your plan is considered “fulfilled,” and a new care plan must then be purchased to cover any future losses or damages.
At this time, The True Gem Care Plans are only available within the continental United States (excluding Hawaii, and Washington DC).
Neither the Limited Lifetime Warranty nor The True Gem Care Plans cover loss, theft, or mysterious disappearance. In these instances, you will need insurance through any third-party organization which offers this coverage. Many clients opt to get their jewelry insured through their homeowner’s or renters’ insurance policies to cover the loss of their jewelry. These policies’ coverages vary depending on variables discussed at the time of your enrollment with your insurer. Before going the route of insuring your jewelry through homeowners’ or renters’ policies we encourage you to talk with your agent to validate what is or isn’t covered.
We recommend Jeweler’s Mutual Insurance as a provider for replacement coverage on all your jewelry. We have worked with Jeweler’s Mutual Insurance for many years and have been satisfied with their claims & replacement process. You can get a live quote for your annual premium directly from their website.
We want you to choose whichever plan works best for you and your lifestyle.
